Basic Properties Of 13X-APG-III And 13X-APG-V

Both 13X-APG-III and 13X-APG-V feature a uniform pore aperture of 10Å (1.0 nm) and can selectively adsorb molecules with a diameter smaller than 10Å. Their physical appearance is in the form of spherical or strip-shaped particles, without any mechanical impurities.

SNOWPEAK 13X-APG-III and 13X-APG-V molecular sieves are specifically developed for the cryogenic air separation industry. They possess excellent adsorption capabilities for CO2 and H2O, preventing tower freezing. Furthermore, to meet the safe operation requirements of air separation units, they also exhibit outstanding co-adsorption and purification capabilities for N2O and alkynes (such as C2H2), effectively ensuring the safe and stable operation of the main air separation unit.

Application Selection Of 13X-APG-III And 13X-APG-V

13X-APG-III molecular sieve is highly energy-efficient and can reduce energy consumption by 30% and re-generation costs by 30%. It offers excellent cost performance and is the optimal economic choice for conventional operating conditions. SNOWPEAK has numerous successful cases of 13X-APG-III molecular sieve applications, with many air separation projects in China operating stably for extended periods.

The adsorption properties of 13X-APG-V molecular sieve are 30%-40% higher than those of 13X-APG-III. Its highlights include:

Extended Adsorption Time: Replacing 13X-APG-III increases the adsorption time from 6 hours to 8 hours; replacing ordinary 13X-APG increases the adsorption time from 4 hours to 8 hours.

Reduced Equipment Size: Allows for a smaller purifier volume while maintaining the same throughput, reducing engineering investment.

Direct Replacement Upgrade: Achieves a significant performance leap without modifying the existing packing structure.

13X-APG-V molecular sieve is suitable for upgrading large-scale air separation units, constructing new large-scale air separation projects, and operating under high load conditions. We recommend it for large-scale cryogenic air separation projects with a capacity of 60,000 Nm3/h or above, or for upgrading existing units to improve efficiency.
